MEMBERSHIP

You may join our Society at any time by signing the membership book. Members must be sixteen years of age or older and are entitled to vote at congregational meetings. We are a completely self-governing inistitution. Our Board of Trustees is elected by, and held accountable to, our members. We depend substantially on our members for financial support and commitment. The Board relies on the work of many committees, each charged with special responsibilities. Members receive the Society's newsletter and The World, the monthly magazine of the Unitarian Universalist Association. The UUA, based in Boston, is the headquarters of our denomination, with which we and more than a thousand other congregations are affiliated. Sunday services take place at 9 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. during the church year which runs from the Sunday after Labor Day until the middle of June. A reduced schedule is followed in the summer.
